I am an independent editor, consultant & creative director

Let's work together.

I've never been great at introductions, but here goes nothing: Hi. I'm Sean. (Whew.) I provide creative content solutions for brands and individuals. You'll find various skill sets listed above (or, if you're on mobile, in the drop-down menu) along with the projects associated with them. Here's how it generally breaks down.

I am a writer. I write about art, design and genderqueer experiences navigating fashion and beauty spaces.* I am a photographer and stylist, though I try to separate the two when taking on assignments. I shoot and edit video as well.

A lot of my work goes into Cakeboy, an independent print zine focused on masculinity and the ways LGBTQIA people engage with, confront and dismantle it. Or, embrace it. Whatever anyone wants to do with it. The project was successfully Kickstarted in 2015 and has been heralded by Out, i-D, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, Cosmopolitan and Nylon.

To summarize: I am the millennial unicorn solution to all of your content problems. Say hi!

*Please for the love of Kristen Stewart do not pitch me or ask me to speak about menswear, sneakers, "grooming," or your boyfriend's particular sartorial needs. Do ask me to write about arbitrary binaries, smoky eyes, how hard it is to find the perfect pair of mules that you can wear with socks, Sienna Miller and sailor jeans.
